Please Welcome our new Coach- Justin Schreer:

Coach Schreer comes to Katy from Myrtle Beach, SC where he was an assistant coach for the Myrtle Beach Riptides and High School coach for St James High School. He grew up in Georgia where he swam for 10 years (1993-2003) with Stingrays Swimming,
Marietta Ga, where he achieved senior sectional qualifying times and academic All-American status.
In college he was a three year varsity swimmer at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and was a seven time NAIA All-American and an Academic All-American. He specialized in the backstroke events and middle- and distance-freestyle events.
Here is a list of his certifications and awards:

•Current coach member of USA Swimming

•Current CPR, First Aid, Background, and Safety Training
•American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 2 certified
•1999 Gold level Schlueter Stroke Award
•2002 Stingrays Swimming Award of Excellence in Senior Men’s Division
•2008 Region VII-AAA Coach of the Year in Swimming (St. James High School)
